2026 Baseball/Softball Registration

The mission of the Chippewa Baseball Softball Association is to promote the development of baseball and softball skills in the youth of Chippewa Township.

The 2026 Spring baseball and softball program is for boys and girls ages 5 - 16. The registration deadline for sign-ups is 2/15/26. There is a $10 early bird discount per player for all registrations received by midnight of 2/8/26. Registrations after 2/15/26 will only be accepted if the league needs additional players to fill teams. No exceptions.

While we strive to ensure everyone who registers on time is able to play on a team, there is the possibility of tryouts and cuts depending on the numbers of players who register. For example, we aim to keep the number of players on each team a workable number so that everyone gets a fair amount of playing time. If the numbers are such that, there are too many players for one team, but not enough for another team, that is when tryouts with cuts could take place. This does not happen very often, but we are sharing to be clear up front.

Parents, if you're interested in donating your time, please let us know. We are always looking for coaches for teams. If you are interested and available to help in any way, please sign up to volunteer in the registration section of this webpage. We are looking forward to the upcoming season and providing an valuable experience to all.

Baseball Softball Registration Information
Please select the applicable division for your child

T-Ball - for 5 and 6 year old boys and girls
Boys - I League - Coach pitch is for boys currently in the 1st and 2nd grade
Boys - H League - Kid pitch for boys currently in the 3rd and 4th grade
Boys - G League - Kid pitch for boys currently in the 5th and 6th grade
Boys - F League - Kid pitch for boys currently in the 7th and 8th grade

Girls - 8u League -Kid pitch for 7 and 8 year old girls
Girls - 10U League - Kid pitch for 9 and 10 year old girls
Girls - 12U League - Kid pitch for 11 and 12 year old girls
Girls - 14U League - Kid pitch for 13 - 14 year old girls

Skills Camp Information

Chippewa Baseball & Softball Skills Camp for 7-15 year old boys and girls.

When: March 3 - March 19th
Tuesday/Thursday evenings

Dates:
  • Group 1 - 8U & 10U: Tuesday's 3/3, 3/10 and 3/17
  • Group 2 - 12U & 14U: Thursday's 3/5, 3/12 and 3/19
  • Will be 90 minute session for each group in the evenings. Tentative times are from 7:00p - 8:30p.

8U - 7 & 8 year olds
10U - 9 & 10 year olds
12U - 11 & 12 year olds
14U - 13 & 14 year olds

This is not intended for t-ball age (less than 7 years old).

Location: Chippewa Intermediate School Gym

Cost is $40 and will include a t-shirt.
